Temporary Aide - Dining Services II

About This Role

This temporary, part-time TEMPORARY AIDE - Dining Services II position involves preparing, setting up, and serving meals for residents at the Bruce McCandless Veterans Community Living Center.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set up, and serve meals
• Prepare coffee, juice, nourishments, and salads; dish desserts and salads, butter bread
• Set up dining room service and tables, wrap silverware, provide beverages, deliver plates to residents
• Serve salads and desserts, bus tables
• Operate dish machine, sort and stack dishes
• Maintain temperature charts, receive, check, and rotate supplies, stock pantry
• Clean and organize storeroom for food and non-food items
• Peel and pare vegetables, make toast, prepare modified diet items
• Keep updated on new diet orders
• Clean and sanitize work area and dining room, including floors, carts, and walls; empty trash

Requirements

• One year of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned
• Colorado residency at time of application and throughout employment

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
