About This Role

The Telephonic Nurse Case Manager provides remote medical case management services to injured individuals, coordinating medical services and exploring vocational options to help them return to the highest level of function possible. This role involves collaboration with various parties including the injured person, claim's examiner, employer, attorneys, and medical providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide remote medical case management services to industrially injured individuals
  • Assist consumers in their recovery to return to the highest level of function possible
  • Coordinate and frequently assess medical services
  • Explore vocational options with injured workers and their employers
  • Secure pre-injury employment or alternate employment
  • Work with all parties to the claim including the injured person, claim’s examiner, employer, attorneys (plaintiff and defense) and medical providers

Requirements

  • Unrestricted compact RN license (MD or PA)
  • Bilingual (Spanish speaking)

Nice to Have

  • Additional RN license from NY and MA
  • CCM strongly preferred
  • WCCM strongly preferred
  • Worker’s compensation case management experience
  • ICU/ER experience
