Technology Category Manager

About This Role

This role involves supporting technology vendors globally within the HAVI organization by conducting contract negotiations, facilitating vendor meetings, and analyzing procurement data to drive strategic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Work with Tech Ops Strategy leaders to support technology vendors within the HAVI organization
• Engage with major technology vendors, as well as small and mid-sized companies
• Conduct contract oversight with large technology organizations
• Perform contract negotiations, including understanding terms and pushing back when necessary
• Obtain quotes and facilitate meetings with vendors
• Provide procurement support internally and externally
• Handle data reporting, analyzing trends of historical purchasing and comparing quotes
• Analyze procurement metrics and data
• Deliver presentations to HAVI leadership and external partners
• Conduct monthly reviews with vendors
• Lead QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) and accountability meetings

Requirements

• 10+ Years of Experience working in the IT Category/Vendor Management space
• Contract negotiation with High Level IT Vendors (Microsoft, AWS, Oracle)
• Divestiture experience
• Negotiation experience
• Vendor management
• Negotiation skills
