About This Role

This position involves processing and applying paints, inks, decals, silk screening, and surface finishes to component surfaces, ensuring adherence to design and manufacturer specifications for simulator products. The role focuses on creating final surface coatings and finishes for manufactured simulator products.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare surfaces for painting, screening, and filling.
• Select and mix coatings to achieve desired color and consistency.
• Paint original items such as custom-built instrument dials.
• Brush or spray paint to cover scratches, chips, or repairs on painted finishes.
• Examine printed objects for defects and correct them as needed.
• Perform silk-screening operations with extreme detail and precision.
• Plan artwork requirements and layout using illustrations, drawings, and photographs.
• Design artwork layouts for products using AUTOCAD.
• Key artwork log information into computer equipment.
• Maintain all associated equipment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Six months of experience in a related field.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Six (6) months’ experience in a related field.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Print RIP software, and vinyl plotter design software.
