Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

About This Role

This Director, Financial Planning & Analysis will lead FlightSafety International's financial strategy, pricing, and product profitability framework. The role ensures sustainable growth and financial excellence, overseeing forecasting, reporting, analysis, and budgeting activities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and oversee the deal approvals process within Salesforce
• Establish and communicate clear pricing guardrails and discount thresholds for the sales team
• Design, implement, and continuously refine the company’s pricing framework for training services
• Provide financial insight and analysis to support strategic decisions on new initiatives
• Design, implement, and continuously refine the company’s commercial products
• Develop business cases for new product launches, including revenue projections, ROI analysis, and cost-to-serve models
• Monitor product performance and recommend changes to pricing or structure
• Support the preparation of the 10 Year Financial plan
• Support the weekly forecasting process, acting as a trusted advisor to business partners
• Lead and mentor team members who prepare and analyze operating and departmental actual results, forecasts and budgets
• Proactively monitor trends to identify risks and opportunities across various cost drivers
• Analyze competitor pricing, cost structures, and customer value to recommend optimal pricing models

Requirements

• 10 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
• Ability to handle compliance reviews under U.S. economic sanctions programs (OFAC)
• Ability to comply with ITAR and/or EAR requirements (qualify as a "U.S. Person" or eligible for export authorization)
