About This Role

Soliant is seeking an experienced Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) for a full-time contract position supporting K-12 school districts in Washington County, PA. This dynamic role involves providing specialized instruction and collaborating with various stakeholders to promote student success.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and support to visually impaired students across grades K-12
• Develop and implement individualized educational plans tailored to students' unique needs
• Collaborate with district staff, families, and other specialists to promote student success
• Utilize both onsite and, when necessary, virtual methods to deliver services
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with education standards and reporting requirements

Requirements

• Active certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
• Proven experience working with visually impaired students in a school environment

• Proven experience working with visually impaired students in a school environment

Nice to Have

• Comfort and flexibility with traveling between multiple district locations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize duties effectively
