Tax Manager

About This Role

Manage complex tax preparations and research for a CPA firm, serving as a primary client contact for tax questions and issue resolution, with potential for partnership.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complex tax returns and perform tax research
• Respond to tax notices from taxing authorities
• Review tax information supplied by clients and contact them regarding general or complex tax questions
• Recognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues and make recommendations
• Adapt to the company's practices, policies, and culture

Requirements

• 3-5 years of prior experience
• CPA certified or CPA candidacy preferred
• Strong organization, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Diligence and dedication to providing superior client service
• Excellent communication skills – oral, written, and interpersonal
• Strong client engagement skills
• Proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and compliance
