Concrete Superintendent

About This Role

This role is responsible for overseeing the execution phase of concrete construction projects, collaborating with operational teams to develop project plans, identify obstacles, and ensure project goals are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop a project plan
• Collaborate with the operational team during the turnover and project planning process
• Understand project information and identify obstacles and opportunities for the project team
• Prepare project team to execute using defined planning processes
• Engage project team to generate accurate project information including T&Q reports
• Utilize and track time sheets, delivery tickets, and sign-in & sign-out sheets
• Ensure project execution goals are met
• Validate project awareness for the project team and make necessary adjustments in order to meet execution goals
• Communicate project status in a timely and accurate manner to all appropriate parties

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive experience in project execution for a large-scale Self-Perform GC or Concrete Contractor
• Self-perform experience of concrete
• Variety of project types with emphasis on Commercial/Industrial
• In-depth knowledge of construction principles/practices with experience on projects over $500K
