Join KPFF Consulting Engineers as a Structural Engineer to collaborate on diverse building types, perform structural analysis and design, and develop high-quality drawings while benefiting from mentorship and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Structural Engineers, Associates, and Team Leaders on a wide variety of buildings types and materials
- Perform structural analysis and design using software such as Revit, RAM Elements, SAP2000, ETABS, Risa3D and more
- Learn to develop clear, high-quality drawings and project lifespan processes
- Participate in site visits and field observations to see YOUR designs come to life
- Collaboration with the design team to ensure project success
- Engage in mentorship and continuous learning — both guided and self-driven
Requirements
- B.S. degree or higher
- 0–4 years of structural design experience
- Engineer-in-Training EIT certification
- Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, RAM, Risa3D, or similar
- Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
- A firm understanding of the fundamentals of structural engineering, including free body diagrams and P/V/M diagrams, coding, and mechanics of materials
Qualifications
- B.S. degree or higher
- 0-4 years of structural design experience, preferably relevant internship experience
