This position drives sales performance, provides leadership to the sales team, and ensures a positive customer shopping experience within a retail operation. The role serves as the second in command for sales initiatives, reporting to the Store Manager.
Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the Sales team and Team Leaders
- Drive sales performance and metrics through a robust selling culture
- Ensure a positive customer shopping experience
- Perform operational activities throughout the store
- Promote a safe and productive work environment for all Team Members, customers, and vendors
- Train Sales Team Members on appropriate policies and procedures
- Deliver financial results
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- Work assigned schedules based on business needs
- Resolve customer complaints and issues
- Operate cash register/computer and perform opening/closing procedures
Requirements
- Previous retail leadership experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma or the equivalent
Qualifications
- High school diploma or the equivalent is required. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
- Previous retail leadership experience is required. Prior sales and supervisory experience strongly preferred.

- Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge
