Store Manager

About This Role

The Manager Trainee is responsible for learning the duties of the Store Manager position and developing the skills required, including delivering a Legendary Customer Experience, building a strong team, driving sales, and managing inventory and profit.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate, discipline, and retain efficient team members.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Ask to add value & Appreciate.
• Create and foster a welcoming environment and sense of belonging, ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Schedule, organize, and plan daily activities for team members to ensure efficient store operations.
• Communicate company processes, policies, and directives to team members and evaluate their effectiveness.
• Learn sales and profit management, accountable for achieving top and bottom line.
• Manage daily merchandise flow to ensure adequate in-stock and inventory controls.
• Train on daily, weekly, and monthly processing of required paperwork including invoices, schedules, and product orders.
• Coordinate and conduct special sales events and assist District Manager with district operational needs.
• Address team member issues and concerns, assessing and developing team members for advancement.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid driver’s license if driving for company business.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business related field preferred.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
