Manager Trainee

About This Role

The Manager Trainee position prepares individuals for a Store Manager role by providing training in all aspects of store operations, focusing on customer experience, team leadership, and sales management.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate, discipline, and retain efficient team members
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA (Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Ask & Appreciate)
• Create and foster a welcoming and inclusive environment in the store for team members and customers
• Schedule, organize, and plan daily activities for team members to ensure efficient store operations
• Communicate company processes, policies, and directives to team members and evaluate their effectiveness
• Learn to create a desirable work environment through promotions, recognition, and empowerment
• Engage in problem solving and conflict resolution for both team members and customers
• Learn sales and profit management, accountable for achieving top and bottom line results
• Manage daily merchandise flow to ensure adequate in-stock and inventory controls
• Train on daily, weekly, and monthly processing of required paperwork including invoices, schedules, and product orders

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Must possess a valid driver’s license

Qualifications

• High school diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business related field preferred. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.
• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
