About This Role

This role manages the daily operations of the store's e-Commerce department, focusing on achieving sales objectives and budgets. The supervisor is responsible for staffing the department and developing associates to ensure customer satisfaction and productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure e-Commerce department meets customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness
  • Interview, select, and hire candidates for the online shopping department
  • Manage product flow and create schedules according to guidelines
  • Develop and certify associates to meet productivity standards
  • Confirm associates follow all local, state, federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines
  • Train associates on all functions and duties of order selector and customer attendant roles
  • Lead team in planning, implementation, and execution of e-Commerce initiatives
  • Achieve/exceed weekly, period, and annual sales, wage budgets, and customer satisfaction goals
  • Assist in the analysis and response to the competitive landscape
  • Ensure orders are filled with requested products or comparable substitutes in a timely and effective manner

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Prior experience in the selection and hiring process
  • Strong organization skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds several times throughout the day
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk constantly
  • Ability to stoop, kneel, or crouch several times per hour
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Any proven supervisory experience and prior experience in the selection and hiring process.

Nice to Have

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience with and knowledge of Point of Sale (POS)
