Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing excellent customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor. Associates will also support various store departments and pharmacy personnel.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and assist with locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support store opening and closing activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on feet, particularly for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
