Store Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Store Associate, you will provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving issues, accurately performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor. Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving warm greetings, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision and following company policies
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support the purpose of helping people on their path to better health

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently
• Close visual acuity to perform activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
