About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor. Associates support various departments, assist pharmacy personnel, and advocate for new CVS services to improve the customer health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision following company policies
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel with regular shifts as part of growth and career development opportunities
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally
• Close visual acuity for computer terminals, reading, and visual inspection
