Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing distinguished customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties accurately, and maintaining the sales floor by restocking and managing inventory. Store Associates also support opening/closing activities and assist other departments, including the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support health

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
