Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing excellent customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor. Associates will also assist pharmacy personnel and promote new CVS services to positively impact customer health.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs to support customers' health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
