Store Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Store Associate at CVS Health, you will provide excellent customer service, manage transactions, maintain the sales floor, and support various store operations to positively impact customer health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information and completing inventory management tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring departments are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods of time
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
