Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor. The Store Associate will ensure departments are fully stocked, assist pharmacy personnel, and promote new services.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support public health.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.
• Entry level position, previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred but not required.
