Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor. The associate will actively identify and resolve service issues, contributing to a positive customer experience and supporting the overall health mission of CVS Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, including handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
