Store Associate

About This Role

As a retail store associate, you will provide exceptional customer service, perform cashier duties, and maintain the sales floor, all while helping to simplify healthcare for customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Complete inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
