Store Associate

About This Role

As a Retail Store Associate, you will provide critical customer service by handling transactions, managing the sales floor, and supporting various departments, contributing to a connected and compassionate healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by greeting warmly, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions following company policies
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs to help people on their path to better health

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
• Entry level position, no specific experience required

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
