Store Associate

About This Role

The Retail Store Associate delivers exceptional customer service, performs cashier duties, and maintains the sales floor to positively impact the lives of customers. This position helps to simplify healthcare by supporting various departments and contributing to a more connected, convenient, and compassionate health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance with locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling various transactions with precision and following company policies.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.
• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally and up to 10 lbs of force frequently.
• Possess close visual acuity for viewing computer terminals and performing visual inspections.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
• Entry-level position. Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting is preferred.
