Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting, performing cashier duties, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting store and pharmacy operations. The Associate will positively impact customers' healthcare journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving service issues
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer assistance with locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, check, and credit card transactions
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on the feet for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently
• Close visual acuity to perform activities like viewing a computer terminal and reading

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
