Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor in a retail setting. Associates contribute to a positive customer experience and support overall store operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions according to company policies
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy for career development
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support health
• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
