Store Associate

About This Role

This role will provide differentiated customer service and support the daily operations of a CVS Health retail store, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact customers' health journeys.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving warm greetings, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs of force frequently
• Close visual acuity for computer terminals, reading, and visual inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
• Entry level position, previous retail or customer service experience preferred

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
