Store Associate

About This Role

This role involves providing exceptional customer service, performing cashier duties, and maintaining the sales floor in a retail setting. Store Associates play a critical part in helping CVS Health simplify healthcare for individuals and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer with warm greetings, eye contact, and offering help locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting preferred
