Store Associate

About This Role

Retail Store Associates provide exceptional customer service, manage transactions, and maintain the sales floor within a CVS Health retail setting, playing a vital role in connecting customers to health resources.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care in all interactions, and actively identifying and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on the customer by giving a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact and offering help locating additional items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision while following company policies and procedures
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities when needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on feet for sustained periods
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally
• Good visual acuity for tasks like viewing a computer terminal and reading

Qualifications

• High School Diploma Or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required
• Entry level with preferred previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
