Store Associate

About This Role

The Retail Store Associate delivers exceptional customer service, performs cashier duties, and maintains the sales floor to positively impact the lives of customers. This role supports all store departments and assists pharmacy personnel, contributing to a connected and compassionate health experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs and resolving service issues.
• Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy.
• Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.
• Remain upright on feet for sustained periods.
• Lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally.
• Perform visual inspection activities requiring close visual acuity.

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required.

Nice to Have

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
