About This Role

This role delivers differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues. It involves accurately performing cashier duties, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting various departments, including pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving service issues
• Focus on the customer with a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help locating items
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed
• Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational
• Assist pharmacy personnel with regular shifts as part of growth and career development opportunities
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs

Requirements

• At least 16 years of age
• Ability to remain upright on the feet, particularly for sustained periods of time
• Ability to lift and exert up to 35 lbs of force occasionally
• Visual acuity for activities such as viewing a computer terminal, reading, and visual inspection

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred But Not Required

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting
