Provide holistic, quality, and cost-effective psychiatric nursing care to patients and families within an inpatient facility, practicing under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities
- Provide temporary nursing practice pending licensing examination results (up to 90 days post-graduation)
- Deliver holistic, quality, and cost-effective nursing care for psychiatric patients/families
- Apply the nursing process within the organization's framework for professional practice
- Practice under the supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse
- Report to the Unit Manager
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Application to sit for CT RN license completed and licensing obtained within 90 calendar days of graduation date
- Ability to develop, deliver and evaluate patient care
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program, minimum Associate degree, Bachelor's preferred
