Staff Pharmacist

About This Role

Soliant is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to support an outpatient infusion service at a cancer center in Cortland, NY. This role involves oncology medication oversight, sterile compounding, and collaboration with healthcare providers, nurses, and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform sterile compounding of oncology medications following strict protocols
• Oversee the preparation and administration of chemotherapy treatments
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and patients to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Support the cancer centers infusion services with expert pharmaceutical care

Requirements

• Active New York Pharmacist license
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding standards and practices
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with chemotherapy or oncology medications
