Staff Pharmacist

About This Role

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be at the forefront of delivering patient care, advising on prescriptions, and helping manage chronic and specialty conditions, while supporting the Pharmacy Manager and overseeing pharmacy operations. This role focuses on ensuring patient safety, practicing professional pharmacy standards, and driving business growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to pharmacy professional practice and regulatory requirements
• Oversee quality assurance, customer service, and personnel management
• Manage inventory and ensure financial profitability and loss prevention
• Optimize workflow management within the pharmacy
• Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
• Display empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues
• Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff by balancing assignments and addressing development opportunities
• Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development and implementation of solutions to drive growth and improve performance
• Adapt to change and adjust plans to thrive in a dynamic community healthcare setting

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
