Staff Pharmacist

About This Role

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing the Pharmacy Technician Support Staff and oversee all aspects of pharmacy operations. This role focuses on patient safety, professional practice, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and customer service. You will also manage inventory, financial profitability, loss prevention, and workflow, and lead patient care programs.

Responsibilities

• Support the Pharmacy Manager in leading and directing Pharmacy Technician Support Staff
• Accountable for supporting the management, oversight, and operation of all aspects within the pharmacy
• Ensure patient safety, pharmacy professional practice, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance
• Manage customer service, personnel, inventory, and financial profitability
• Implement loss prevention and workflow management strategies
• Keep customers and patients healthy through adoption and management of patient care programs
• Motivate, inspire, and develop Pharmacy Support Staff
• Identify critical business opportunities and contribute to the development of meaningful solutions to drive growth and improve performance
• Successfully implement solutions by leading the team to achieve specified goals
• Align others around purpose to gain support and commitment

Requirements

• Active Pharmacy License in the state in which you are employed
• Not on the DEA Excluded Parties List
• Immunization Certification through an accredited organization (i.e. APhA)
• Free of pending felony charges or convictions for criminal offenses involving controlled substances

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Pharm. D. degree
