Staff Nurse (RN) - Acute Care Float Pool

About This Role

This Staff Nurse role involves providing direct patient care and supportive services to achieve positive patient outcomes. The nurse will manage and deliver care to patients and their families, while also supervising nursing care provided by other team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and supportive services directed towards achievement of positive patient care outcomes
• Maximize patient's involvement in his/her own plan of care
• Reduce the length of hospitalization
• Manage and provide care to the patient and his/her family
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate the nursing care of patients in alignment with the professional practice model

Requirements

• Degree in Nursing from a CCNE or ACEN accredited nursing program

Qualifications

• 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing

Nice to Have

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing
• Experience in relevant care setting
