The Neurodiagnostic Technician performs electroneurodiagnostic procedures for patients with suspected neurological conditions, including EEG, EMG, Autonomics, Epilepsy Monitoring, and Evoked Potentials. This role involves preparing patients for testing, performing tests, and collecting information essential for interpreting results.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for electroneurodiagnostic testing
- Perform various electroneurodiagnostic procedures including EEG, EMG, Autonomics, Epilepsy Monitoring (EMU), and Evoked Potentials (EP)
- Collect information pertinent to the interpretation of test results
- Monitor patients for seizure or other neurological disorders
Requirements
- One year healthcare experience OR one year Neurodiagnostic experience OR Associates degree OR RPSGT Certificate
Qualifications
- Associates degree or Associates Degree in END Technology
- Recommended one year healthcare experience OR minimum of one year Neurodiagnostic experience OR minimum of an Associates degree
Certifications
RPSGT Certificate
