About This Role

Safeguard Intuit QuickBooks' money movement platform by developing and implementing fraud risk policies for fintech products, utilizing cutting-edge AI technology. This role involves extensive collaboration with senior stakeholders and has a direct impact on SMB growth and customer trust.

Responsibilities

  • Develop risk policy for Payments, Banking, Bill Pay, and other fintech products.
  • Encompass fraud detection and prevention for new money movement products and features.
  • Create end-to-end risk policies by driving alignment with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Own and drive fraud risk aspects of business initiatives, impacting Intuit’s SMB growth and customer trust.
  • Identify and address fraud risk across fintech products, leveraging AI.
  • Shape the strategic direction of fraud policy initiatives.
  • Contribute to and implement innovative, data-driven risk strategies.
  • Influence decision-makers, negotiate outcomes, drive prioritization, and build consensus.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and exceptional analytical ability
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Deep expertise (7+ years preferred) in fraud risk management, particularly within the fintech or payments industry
  • Proven track record of leveraging data-driven insights to solve complex fraud problems and drive significant loss reduction
  • Working knowledge of the fundamentals of risk policy, including fraud detection, float risk mitigation, scorecard modeling, loss forecasting, and disputes/collections
  • Demonstrated experience in designing experiments and using data-driven insights to solve business problems
  • Polished partnership and communication skills, with the ability to interact cross-functionally with both business and technical partners

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, with 7+ years preferred in fraud risk management within the fintech or payments industry.

Nice to Have

  • Experience leading significant projects and mentoring junior analysts in fraud risk
  • Experience in fintech/money movement fraud risk management
