This role involves architecting and delivering high-impact leadership development initiatives for Director, Vice President, and Senior Vice President populations, driving business results through strategic interventions and continuous improvement. The Principal Talent Partner acts as a thought leader and trusted advisor, partnering with HR leadership and business executives to address capability gaps.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal subject matter experts, HR Business Partners, and senior leaders to diagnose specific skills required of executives using data and customer input
- Translate complex business needs into effective development solutions that align with strategic priorities
- Design and deliver highly effective, inclusive leadership experiences, including workshops, blended learning, and in-the-flow learning
- Utilize different types of learning based on the situation, including in-person, self-directed, and virtual formats
- Leverage strong coaching and facilitation skills to engage leaders and help develop and evolve the external executive coaching program
- Create and implement measurement strategies for Executive Development outcomes aligned to key people metrics
- Establish a cadence to collect the "voice of the executive" to integrate learnings into solution design and drive continuous improvement
- Lead cross-collaborative teams and partner with external vendors to deliver solutions, potentially mentoring junior talent
- Identify and leverage innovative tools, including GenAI and modern training applications, to strategically accelerate outcomes and enhance learning experiences
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in building and scaling leadership development programs
- Thought leader in leadership development with knowledge of industry trends and the latest research
- Ability to build business acumen to design leadership experiences that achieve business results
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles with a proven track record of designing content and facilitating sessions for senior audiences
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to manage the full project lifecycle for complex initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; a Master’s in Learning, Organizational Development, or I/O Psychology is a plus
- 8+ years of experience in building and scaling leadership development programs
