Serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to a PLEX leader within AWS, driving organizational effectiveness, strategic execution, and operational excellence for a centralized business operations team. This role enables leaders to maximize their impact in a growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as trusted partner to an executive, managing concurrent initiatives and balancing competing priorities
- Provide strategic support on decisions affecting team direction and resource allocation, representing the leader in cross-functional forums
- Drive the organizational goal-setting process, ensuring alignment with broader PLEX priorities
- Translate strategic direction into actionable plans, removing execution barriers
- Manage key leadership forums, synthesizing business performance data and operational metrics for informed decisions
- Identify opportunities and risks affecting team effectiveness and delivery
- Build productive working relationships with peer business operations teams, Finance, HR, Recruiting, and other support functions
- Coordinate and lead strategic projects across multiple teams, influencing stakeholders for support and resources
- Build consensus and navigate competing interests to remove blockers and maintain momentum
Requirements
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 3+ years of Excel experience (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience working closely with and advising senior executives
- Previous experience in Chief of Staff or Business Operations leadership roles
- Experience working with senior executives in technology companies
- Track record of implementing and scaling organizational processes
- Demonstrated experience using data to navigate ambiguous decisions
- Expertise in Excel and willingness to experiment with new tools and technologies
