Sr. Manager Community Affairs

About This Role

Develop, implement, and oversee community and associate engagement initiatives, acting as the primary liaison with corporate charitable giving partners and stakeholders. Foster positive relationships externally and internally, and enhance the company's reputation within the communities it serves.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, execute and track key performance indicators for annual charitable community engagement initiatives
• Oversee and manage current associate assistance fund program, US Foods You Matter Fund
• Oversee and manage current US Foods Scholars program
• Collaborate with external communications on all externally facing communications in support of initiatives
• Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to drive associate volunteerism efforts and act as counsel for internal field leaders
• Serve as spokesperson for community affairs programming internally and externally
• Develop and execute against detailed project plans for all annual initiatives
• Develop and manage budgets for community affairs programs and initiatives
• Manage company’s Community giving and engagement technology platform
• Monitor, evaluate, and report on the effectiveness of community affairs initiatives

Requirements

• 7 years of progressive experience in community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, or a related field
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing community engagement and partnership strategies
• Passion for community development and social impact
• Ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
• Excellent project management skills
• Experience working with diverse communities and stakeholders
• Experience working with program and design support tools

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Business Administration, Public Affairs, or a related field
• 7 years of progressive experience in community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, or a related field
