This role involves working with the Area Director of Sales Support to identify and prioritize sales and profitability growth opportunities. The analyst will provide informed recommendations to the sales organization and support sales productivity increases through analytical reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
Responsibilities
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to grow sales and profitability, allocating specialist resources accordingly
- Provide informed recommendations on specific detailed sales opportunities within the Area's customer base to increase sales and profit
- Identify opportunities to increase penetration, reduce churn, and assess high potential leads
- Analyze and report sales-related information to support sales productivity increases
- Provide ad-hoc analytical support to the Area Director of Sales Support
- Manage the Sales Route planning process and sales compensation computations
- Analyze and provide customer incentive recommendations to drive top line sales and own the rebate initiation process
- Determine account and product-specific penetration opportunities within the customer base
- Use predictive analysis to reduce account churn and proactively identify high-risk accounts
- Measure and track financial results of key initiatives monthly
Requirements
- 3 years previous experience in an analytical role
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize an everchanging list of requests
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and relationship building skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 3 years previous experience in an analytical role required

- MBA or Master’s Degree
