This role involves leading multiple IT initiatives across various domains, ensuring predictable and transparent delivery. The Senior IT Programs Manager enables ThermoSafe's technology organization by focusing on execution and alignment, allowing technical leaders to concentrate on strategy and solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple concurrent IT initiatives across applications, infrastructure, security, and manufacturing systems
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans, milestones, and dependencies
- Ensure consistent delivery practices and disciplined execution across teams
- Provide clear, concise status reporting for IT leadership and business stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment and decision-making
- Proactively surface risks, issues, and dependencies with recommended actions
- Coordinate delivery activities across internal teams and external service providers
- Ensure work is aligned across vendors without overlap, gaps, or miscommunication
- Track commitments and follow-through against agreed plans
- Serve as Scrum Master and Agile coach for technical teams as appropriate
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management
- Demonstrated success delivering complex, multi-workstream technology initiatives
- Strong experience working in Agile and hybrid delivery environments
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Experience coordinating work across multiple vendors and internal teams
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher in Business, Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of experience in IT project or program management
