Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech

About This Role

The Industrial Maintenance Reliability Tech is responsible for safely repairing and maintaining operational equipment and facilities, implementing preventive/predictive maintenance, and quickly troubleshooting equipment issues to ensure optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Understands and follows safety policies and procedures, performs all tasks safely and leads by example
• Identifies safety risks and works to reduce risks in behavior, equipment and processes
• Repairs and maintains operational equipment and facilities, ensuring proper fixes are in place
• Maintains adequate inventories of tools, supplies and parts to accurately repair all equipment
• Creates, documents and performs strong Preventive/Predictive maintenance tasks/procedures to eliminate equipment breakdown failures
• Quickly and safely troubleshoots equipment issues and implements optimum corrective action
• Communicates effectively with operations personnel to identify and resolve abnormal or degraded equipment conditions
• Participates in proactive maintenance activities such as RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action)
• Documents work done in sufficient detail in order to capture strong historical data for future analysis
• Maintains strong housekeeping principles in personal areas and identifies and utilizes proper tools for each individual job

Requirements

• Ability to understand and follow safety policies and procedures
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Technically skilled to maintain mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems
• Technically skilled to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Ability to use a computer
