Sr. I Analyst - Enterprise Data & Analytics

About This Role

This Senior Analyst position supports the MCIT Enterprise Data Analysis Department, contributing to the strategic vision of a digital, world-class academic medical center. The role translates data requests into analytical solutions to support strategic planning, decision-making, and performance for NYULH leadership, by serving as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams for analytics and dashboard projects.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements, technical specifications, and design specs with business owners and MCIT staff
• Provide project management support to coordinate efforts for dashboard projects, ensuring consensus on requirements and timelines, and managing issues
• Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and alignment throughout the lifecycle of analytics projects
• Assist with processing and triaging requests for dashboards, reports, analytics, and data access from the NYULH enterprise community
• Perform user testing, validate data on dashboards, and obtain final approval from business owners
• Provide support to department managers and directors as part of project teams and committees involved in enterprise reporting initiatives
• Perform ad hoc analyses for NYULH leadership as requested by Department Managers
• Participate in the governance of metrics, preparing definitions and publishing them in the NYULH Business Glossary for consistent reporting
• Investigate data and functionality issues as needed

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
