Sr Builder Solution Architect, AWS Product Marketing Demo Engineering

About This Role

This role is for a Senior Builder Solution Architect within the AWS Product Marketing Demo Engineering team. The primary purpose is to design, implement, and showcase high-quality technical demonstrations for AWS services, particularly focusing on Generative AI and Machine Learning.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-quality technical demonstrations for service launches, events, sales enablement, and experiential activations across AWS services.
• Develop high-quality code artifacts including demos, sample code, and starter projects.
• Support responses to critical analyst evaluations such as Gartner Magic Quadrant and Forrester Wave assessments.
• Contribute to demo standards and best practices, collaborating with team members to maintain bar-raising quality in project structure, coding, and testing.
• Partner with field teams, GTM teams, service teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to understand use cases and develop demonstration solutions.
• Share knowledge through internal forums, AWS blogs, and reference architectures; contribute to enablement materials that help teams integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures.

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), AI tools for development productivity, contributing to open-source projects, and/or version control systems
• Experience in written and verbal communication skills to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership

Qualifications

• 8+ years of specific technology domain experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering), 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures, and 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.

Nice to Have

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
• Knowledge of presentations and whiteboarding skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with internal and external executives, IT management, and developers
