Sr. Application Coordinator - Epic Research

About This Role

This role primarily involves the design, build, testing, validation, and ongoing support of Epic Research applications for a large teaching hospital. The coordinator will obtain in-depth knowledge of application functionality and operational workflows to implement system solutions and support new workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide Epic product function, design, and build expertise for successful product implementation.
• Serve as the primary resource dedicated to application design, validation, and build within assigned area.
• Assess current state, design and implement future-state workflows by analyzing business/operational needs.
• Translate business/operational needs into proper system configuration.
• Provide demonstration of system functionality and submit regular status reports.
• Coordinate/facilitate organizational meetings and attend weekly team meetings.
• Develop, support, and maintain documentation and procedures, providing training to IT staff and user clients.
• Troubleshoot problems identified by team members and end-users, analyze and coordinate system changes.
• Review and test build and new releases/enhancements prior to implementing in production.
• Collaborate with Principal Trainers in the design and development of role-based training programs.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience providing analytical support for Epic Research module
• Epic Research certification
• Reside in Georgia, Texas, Tennessee, North Carolina, Florida, South Carolina, Michigan, or Colorado

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education, training and/or experience
• 3+ years of experience providing analytical support for Epic Research module
