Join the Flight Management System team at Honeywell Aerospace to design, develop, and integrate complex systems for the Anthem Next Generation Avionics project, focusing on innovative software solutions to meet customer needs. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment to satisfy technical requirements and ensure certification compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality Core Software architecture and applications
- Integrate Flight Management software for new product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and specifications
- Implement software solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
- Conduct software requirements and code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Test and Integrate on test benches in labs
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software development
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development
- Strong C++ or Object-oriented programming skills
- Experience with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum
- Strong software architecture and design development skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulations, such as DO-178C
- Experience in leading the team for developing software for embedded systems
- Multi-core / multi-thread development experience
- Strong understanding of OOAD approach and concepts
- Strong analytical and software development skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development
