Join the development team to design and create advanced mechanical machines and components, driving innovation and sustainability in energy solutions for highly reliable centrifugal pumps and compressors.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop advanced rotating equipment and auxiliary systems through stage gate process
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical requirements and specifications
- Perform mechanical analysis and simulations to ensure product performance and reliability
- Utilize FEA for stress analysis and CFD modeling (Ansys Fluent/CFX)
- Create CAD models and drawings and facilitate their review for accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in CAD/FEA software and design tools
- Experience with mechanical analysis and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of product testing and validation processes within stage gate processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in engineering
- 3+ years of rotating equipment experience
- Product design utilizing structural and/or CFD experience
- Ansys experience
- Experience in advanced mechanical design
- Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects
- Ability to collaborate with global teams and support team learning
- Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices
