Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

About This Role

This full-time contract position involves serving as a Speech Language Pathologist in Aurora, IL, supporting PreK-5th grade students in a K-12 school setting. The role focuses on assessing communication abilities, developing individualized treatment plans, and collaborating with educational teams to enhance student communication and educational outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate students' speech, language, and communication abilities
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational team members to support student progress
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with professional and school standards
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary efforts to address student needs

Requirements

• Active and valid Speech Language Pathologist license
• Experience working with school-aged children, especially in early elementary grades
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs
